ONEHUNGA ELECTION.

The polling for the town of Onelmnga came off yesterday, *t the Court-house. The electors recorded their votes until 11 o'clock, when it was announced that Mr. Lundon had resigned. Shortly softer this, the Returning Officer appeared at the hustings, and declared Mr. O'Borke duly elected member for Onehunga. The numbers polled when Mr. Lundon reiigned were as follow :—: — O'Rorke 67 Lundon 22 Three cheers for the candidates were given, and alto for the Returning Officer, after which the electors dispersed.
