CRICKET.

A MATCH was played on Saturday last, between an eleven of the Wesley College Cricket Club, and an eleven of the East Auckland Cricket Club. The East Auckland having won the tos«, went to the wickets, and after a good inning* retired with a seire of forty-two run*. The Wesley College went next to the wickets, and after a short inning* retired with a score of thirty-one runs. The East Auckland then went in for their second innings, and retired with a still larger score than in the first innings, they making in the »econd innings fifty runs. The Wesley College then went in, but soon retired, having only secured twenty-three rand, thus leaving the East Auckland victorious by thirty-eight runs. The following is the score :—: —
