GOVERNMENT GARDENS.

To tho Editor of the Daily Southern Cross. Sir, — It is, I think, very necessary that some measures f> hould bo taken to prevent visitor* to tho Government Gardsns from helping themselves to the flowers, in the culture of which Lynch, the gardener, lias taken 10 much care. I was walking in the Domain on Sunday last, and observed that many of tho people there reckles»ly plucked any flower that happened to take their fancy. Such disgraceful conduct xhonld not be allowed to go unpunished, and it only needs that some person be made an example of to put * stop to such practices. — I am, &c., Auckland, November 28, 1865. Florist.
