THE Waikato river, we are informed, is becoming more easily navigable, owing to the recent heavy mini whioh have fallsn in that diitriot. The colonial ■teamer ' Rangiriri,' the only Government boat now flying on the river, arrived at the. Bluff on Sunday morning, after a somewhat protracted passage from Ngamawahia, consequent upon- hiving •tuokupon sewal of the sandbanks, but <was coji ofif without ■uiUining any injury.
