The next morning a meeting of the committee was convened for the purpose of taking into consideration the rules of the club. It was resolved that a meeting be held the day following, and the rules and regulations laid betore the members for their approbation. This was accordingly done, when one and all fully concurred in the measure? taken by the committee. The club is to be called the Hamilton Cricket Club. Ample funds were colleoted to defiay all the expenses; and tho president expressed his desire to see the club flouiish in the township of Hamilton, where it will ere long be located."
