ELECTION, FRANKLIN.
An election of a member of the Hou->e of Rcpieseutatives for the district of Fiankliu took place yesteiday, at twelve o'clock noon, at the Police Office, Otahuhu. Theie weie piesent — Captain Stymonds (Returning Officer), Mr Alb^n M.utm, Mr. Goidon, Captain Ilowaicl, C.ipt.iiu Waimcslej, and tlie Clerk of the Com fc (Mr, Dowbridge).
