We make the following extracts from the Melbourne Argus :—: — A New El Dorado. — Kingower has long been celebiated for the nuggets which it has yielded, and of late it has been exceeding itself in the number, if not in the size, of lumps of gold it lias been giving to fortunate diggers. A lesident in the locality, writing to Ins fathei — Mr. Claik, of Tylden, Kyneton, — states his experiences of the new rush theie (as given in the Ki/iielon Observer) as follows — " At the new lushhe saw a nugget, value £1,300, which two men got a few days since in shallow sinking , and in one day as much as, three bundled weight of gold it was estimated was taken out fiom the new sinkings The foi tun ate finders of the laige nugget were previously reduced to gieat extiemes for want of means, and on the night befoie then good luck were, it is baid, refused a loaf of bread on ciedit at a neighbounng store. If the expectations foimed of this Kmgower lush be leahsed, it certainly will afford moie attractions than New Zealand to the fortune-seeking miuei."
