VOLUNTEER RIFLES. IN reference to my promise of making arrangements for Ball practice, I find, that although amply supplied with Ammunition at this Station, sudden calls from other and distant parts of the Province or even from other Provinces, might arise, and I therefore consider it more prudent to cease issuing the regularly made cartridges ; and I recommend that Members should make their own Ammunition, for whioh facility will be afforded by tho supply of Moulds for running Bullets. The Ball practice, as usual, should be continued. I particularly order that no Member makes any use of the ammunition in his Pouch. H. C. BALNEAVIS, Captain Commanding. Auckland, April 6th. 1860.
