ELLIS begs respectfully to announce to his friends and the public, that with a view to more complete dispatch in the Consign-m^ntrßnd-Or-ajmission Departments of his bn»iness, be has taken out an Auctioneer's License, and will be prepared, in a few days, to receive goods for sale by auction, at his rooms, in Short-land-street, and at his stores in Queen-street. The amount of patronage which Mr. Ellis has already received at the hands of the Auckland public, and through his correspondents at large in the neighbouring Colonies, encourages him on this occasion in soliciting a continuation of that moderate share of support of which it will be his study, by every legitimate means as heretofore, to render himself deservng. All goods intended for immediate sale will be taken in Shortland-street, on the morning of Tuesdays and Saturdays. Goods on consignment from the Country and from the Colonies will be liberally dealt with, and the disposal of them on equitable principles to the best advantage diligently and punctually attended to.
