NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS.
We have received Mr. Vaile's letter, concerning the covering in of the main sewer before his premises, and ir» answer to the lepicsentations which had been made on that subject in the ' New Zealander.' It is time that the maiter should cease to be a question of newspaper controversy. Beyond a doubt, the papers and accounts will be moved for during the next session of the Provincial Council, when Air. Vaile will have the satisfaction of seeing all ground for misapprehension removed, and before a more authontative tribunal. "W. L," has been received. We think that the insertion of it, at the present time, would hardly be favourable to the object sought to be attained. Dr. Stratford's letter will appear in our next.
