AUCTION SALE.

Mr. J. Newman held a sale of dairy cows, atPanmure, on Thursday last, prices ruled high, 30 cows averaged over £19- each, one fetching £42 ; one £27 10s.; one £25 10s.; others at from £16 to £23 each. These cattle were from Messrs. Williamson and Crummer's hord. Several head of young cattle were also sold at prices varying from £6 os. £12 per head, according to age and size.
