G O N N ELL & RIDINGS

Have received instructions from His Excellency Colokel Wyntabd, to treat for the Sale of the extensive and commodious MANSION and PREMISES in Emily place and Shortstreet, now occupied as His Excellency's residence, — ITIHE MANSION, which contains twenty J- apartments, may be considered as quite a new building. The whole, with the exception of one or two minor rooms, which remain of the former dwelling house, having been erected duiing Colonel Wynyjlrd's possession of the Property. It is constructed of the best seasoned Material, and no expense spared which could reeder it suitable for domestic accommodation, and the uses of hospitality. j The northern front, which opens upon the paitene, and commands the most delightful ! views of the Harbour, consists of the large drawing room, dining room, and best bed chamber. The other apartments comprise, dressing rooms, library, six bed rooms, hall, four store-rooms, and closets, a large kitchen 26 feet by 17, with kitchen range, &c, wine cellar, butler's pantry, china closet and scullery, together with granary, daily, and other outbuildings. The several courts and passages are well paved and drained ; the grounds are laid out in the most tasteful manner, and protected by fancy paling, chain fancing, &c, and the approaches finished with side drains of brick work. As a speculation, this valuable Property presents singular advantages to the capitalist. The frontage to Emily place and Short-street, would at any time, if sold in lots, realize a very large sum.

Full particulars, and terms, can be learned on enquiry at the Mart, Queen-street.

The Agents venture to suggest that the purchase of this Property by the Provincial Government, would at once enable the Metropolitan Grovince to offer a suitable residence to our new Povernor during the erection of a permanent Government House.
