Today's Recipe. Apple Surprise Pudding
Peel aud quarter 4 large cooking ■apples aud boil' till tender with the rind of a lemon in a little water only, so that when soft no writer ..is left. Mash the apple pulp, add .1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 dessertspoon melted butter, 2 eggs, juice of a I a lemon, } cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cocoa. Beat all well together and bake i hour. Serve, hot or cold, with custard.
