United States Proposal
(Received October 28, 10 p.m. WASHINGTON. October 27. The Weather Service Department is seeking to induce Canada, New Zealand, Australia, China and India among others to take over the installations built up by the Army during the war at a cost o'f 40.000.000 dollars for "lobe forecasts. 'The network of army and air foree. stations numbers nearly 900 installations. The transfer of equipment and the training of foreign forecasters has begun.
