News of the day at Robin and Co., 17 Grqy Street—a lovely writing table made about 10 years ago and a jierfeet reproduction of an Adams table. It is mahogany, with a cupboard either side of the knee hole and three drawers extending across the front, each of which is cedar lined. It lias a low back with a beautifully-carved urn and scroll design, the motif of which is repi'aled on tiie cupboard doors. The doors and the drawer fronts are outlined with a half-inch carved border. The handles are engraved brass plates with oval rings also engraved. It is a beautiful piece, and though intended for n writing table, its plain top and its clipboard and drawer aeconiniodalion makes it equally suitable for a sideboard, especially for a small din-ing-room or a. flat.—Advt.
