EX-AMBASSADOR’S ARREST
(Received October 26, 9.50 p.m.) PARIS, October 2G. Gaston Bergery, former Vichy Ambassador to Moscow and Ankara, was arrested on a rival from Ankara in a French military plane. Bergery said he had done nothing with which he could reproach himself. He had returned voluntarily, he added.
