Oxford Honours War Leaders (Received October 26. 7 p.m.) LONDON. October 25. Anglo-American war leaders, including General Eisenhower. Air Marshal Tedder. Field-Marshal Montgomery. General Freyberg, Lord Alan Brooke, and leading'figures in public life, including the American Ambassador. Mr. I. Winnut, and Lord Gowrie were among a large group on whom Oxford University conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws in ’he Sheldonian Theatre today.
