Sport On Sundays
Sir. —I agree entirely with “Returned Serviceman’’ on the subject of sport on Sunday. Our city fathers are apparently afraid of a noisy minority. 1 sincerely hope that our American friends were able to obtain a privately-owned field on which to enjoy their games. There might lie less .vandalism iu Wellington if more healthv sport was encouraged on Sundays. — I am. etc.. DULL SUNDAY. ■Wellington, October 23.
