Colonel I). N. AV. Murray

The death occurred in Auckland yesterday of Colonel D. N. \V. Murray, C.M.G., D. 5.0.. M.D., who at tlie time of his death was. A.D.M.S., Northern Military District. In the present war Colonel' Murray served for some time as senior medical officer on the hospital ship Mauugnnui. In June. .1942. he was posted to Northern Military District, heudquarte.rs. Colonel Murray, who was aged 69. was educated in Auckland aud at Edinburgh University, and served in the R.A.M.C. in the South African War. and with the N.Z.E.F. in the 1914-18 war. —I’.A. Father J. Whangarei and Dargaville. He celebrated his silver sacerdotal jubilee at Dargaville in September. 1938. when many public tributes were paid to his work.
