Details Of Hong Kong Surrender NEW YORK, September 3. The evacuation of the Japanese forces from Hong Kong was completed last Saturday, says the Domei news agency. Some minor disputes arose when British forces attempted to disarm the Japanese in some localities. Details of the surrender of Hong Kong are still uuder negotiation, The Canadian Press Association says that a Chinese crowd beat an armed Japanese soldier to dealh on August -I when the first British occupation forces landed.
