Transfer To Better Site Suggested
The Victoria University College Council at. its meeting on Thursday night, received a letter from the Students' Association urging the removal of the college at some future date to a site which would enable expansion and tile provision of better facilities and amenities. The letter suggested that a new site might be found in the Adelaide Road area when the city council’s slum clearance proposal was put into effect. On the motion of Mr. AV. V. Dyer, the council decided to set up a committee, to inelude representatives of the Students' Association, to investigate the proposal.
