The death has occurred of Mr. George Black, aged 54, a leading London theatrical producer and thealre director. Mr. Black left school at I'l and joined his father in the film industry. They established the first permanent cinema theatres in Britain, Mr. Black was associated with many spectacular stage production in the 1930'5, and during the war he presented lavishly-produced shows in spite of the dress restrictions.
