SPECIAL COMMITTEE
Appointment Of Members A special select committee of the House of Representatives, consisting of 12 members, to consider the Milk Bill and to report on its provisions, was set up on the motion of the Minister ot Health, Mr. Nordmeyer, in the House yesterday. Leave was given for the committee to sit bn days when the House does not meet, and it. is understood that it will hold its sittings to hear evidence and representations during the coming three weeks’ adjournment of the House. The members of the committee are: The Minister of Health, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Aderman (New Plymouth), Mr. Bodkin (Central Otago), Mr.. Murdoch (Marsden), Mr. Sutherland (Hauraki), Mr. Sheat (Patea), Opposition members, and Mr. Anderton (Ithlen), Mr. Chapman (Wellington North),. Mr. Connolly (Dunedin West), Mr. Williams (Kaiapoi), Mr. R. M. Macfarlane (Christchurch South), Government members.
