ARMY MOTOR-CYCLES
Question About Release To Public An inquiry when it was intended to retjase for sale to the public the 1500 motorcycles formerly used by the Army was made by Mr. Watts (Opposition, Ricearton) in notice, of a question to the Minister of Supply iii the House yesterday. In a note to his question Mr. Watts said .he was informed that 1500 out of a total of 6000 motor-cycles used by the Army were valued between May and July of Ihis year. Most of them were at present tying out. in the open and were deteriorating. These motor-cycles were urgently required for essential users and though representations had been made no reply had been received!.by motor dealers.
