HUGE VOTE OF CREDIT
Britain’s Expenditure LONDON, October 17. Tlie Government is to ask Parliament this week- to ratify (lie heaviest vote of credit of tlie whole war. Expenditure for tlie first three months of next year is estimated at £1,250.000,000. Tliis brings tlie total expenditure estimated for tlie financial year to well over £4,000.000,000. The new vote covers relief and rehabilitation costs in liberated areas, as well as the maintenance of fighting and civilian services at home and abroad.
