GERMAN REPORTS
LONDON, October 17.
The Germans have reported greatlyincreased Russian pressure north of Warsaw and a new Russian offensive against the eastern border of East Prussia, an offensive which they say has brought Red Army troops right up to the East Prussian frontier at one point.
The latest German reports mention big Russian attacks. They say that. Red Army forces are trying to break through the southern and eastern borders of East Prussia and that they have begun a new offensive in the direction of Libau and Mcmel. .
