Removal From Schools Wanted
“I think we should take a strong stand and give the E.P.S. authorities seven (lays’ notice to remove E.P.S. equipment from our schools,” said Mr. C. 15. H. Bali at yesterday’s meeting of the Wellington Education Board when a letter was read from the chief executive officer of the Wellington E.P.S., Mr. HainpsonTindale, advising that arrangements were being concluded for the removal of all E.P.S. equipment, remaining in school buildings. “This work will be carried out at. the earliest opportunity.” said Mr.
Hampson-Tiudale, “but you will appreciate that it is dependent on the availability of transport and storage facilities.” Mr. L. J. McDonald suggested that, the material be returned at the cost of the E.P.S. authorities.
“We have been trying to get rid of this stuff for months.” said Mr. N. R. Sodden, who added that if the material at the Miramar Central School was not moved within a week, the committee intended to dump it info the air-raid shelter. A member: And leave the door open.

On flic motion of Mr. Bal! it was decided to give the E.P.S. authorities 14 days’ notice to remove the equipment from the schools.
