War Prisoners Recovered
(British Official Wireless.l RUGBY, October 16. The War Office announces that 58 British and 86 Australian prisoners of war have been recovered from a Japanese transport which was torpedoed iu the Pacific last month. They are from Malaya and Siam. . The United Kingdom party is being brought home via the United States as soon as possible. The Australian party is now en route for Australia. It is feared that a number of other prisoners lost their lives.
