Battle Of Attrition LONDON, October 1. The battle for Warsaw has become one of attrition. Both sides are throwing in more and more forces. The Polish home army is engaged iu heavy fighting in the centre of Warsaw, aud the latest communique from the commander of the Polish home army. General Bor, says the situation remains serious.
