NO-CONFIDENCE IN A.S.R.S. EXECUTIVE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AVESTPORT, October 1. A resolution of no-confidence in the national executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, including the general secretary. Mr. L, Mcllvride, was passed by a special meeting of members of the Westport branch of the A.S.R.S. today. The meeting further adopted a resolution that Mr. Mcllvride be called on to resign and recontest his seat. It was further decided that a telegram be sent to the national secretary asking whether the executive council would ptess for an all-round increase tn pay of 6d. an hour when the tribunal sits in Wellington in October.
