SCOTTISH HARRIERS AGAIN TO FORE
Scottish club harriers who have been well to the fore this season won both the Bennett Memorial Shield and the Craig Cup, the races for which were run from the Star Boating Club on Saturday. In the senior event of seven and a half miles easily the most promising performance was given bv the young runner, A. Barclay, who finished second by only two or three vards from A. K. Geddes, provincial champion. T. Bartlett was third by several hundred yards. The junior race (three miles) was won by R. Hflmmington, A. Pay and D. Newton dead-heating for second. , , . Mr. M. R. 'Watterson, chairman of the Wellington Athletic Centre, presented the Beunctt Memorial Shield to the Scottish senior team and Mr. N.
