Jaffray, was present at the finals of Ihe Wellington College boxing tourna men I. ° Mr. D. W. Madden, Wellington, has been appointed a director of Shnrland and Company Limited to fill a vacancy on the board. Messrs. J. Begg and J. D. W. Ormond have been appointed producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, states the Gazette. Wing Commander E. Caradus. Director of Educational Services. R.N.Z.A.F.. left Wellington yesterday on a visit to Air Force and Naval units in the Auckland district.
Mr. IL F. Anderson, Wellington, bus been appointed chairman of the Government Railways Appeal Board. Messrs. F. C. Wilson, Wanganui, and W. !■'. Gill are appointed members of the board. Mr. Gill is an elected member, representing Hie first division.
