THICK CONCRETE PIERCED
(British Official Wireless.) (Received August 27, 9.40 p.m.) RUGBY, August 26. Once again R.A.F. 12,0001 b. bombs have smashed through E-boat shelters of concrete several feet thick which the Germans believed bomb proof. This was at Ilmuiden two days ago. Reconnaissance reveals that among other damage one bomb penetrated the roof of the shelters for E-boats and Rboats and left a crater 15 feet across.
