Mr. Joseph Caselberg' Tho death occurred suddenly yesterday of Mr. Joseph Caselberg, one ot Masterton’s best-knowu business men. Mr. Caselberg, who was born m' wfis a son of iSlr. and j\lrs. er Casclberg, and was educated at .Wellington College, As a youth he joined the WF C A Ltd., .which was founded by his father, and had a long association with it. He held the positions of secretary, chairman of directors, and managin"-' director. Mr. Caselberg took a keen interest in community affairs and was at one time chairman of the Memorial Park Board, president of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce, and president of the horticultural society. In the last war Mr. Caselberg took a prominent part in patriotic activities. He was a justice of the pence and was a member of the Masterton Tennis Club committee in his younger davs. He was a member of the Masterton Club and the Wellington Hebrew Congregation. Mr.. Caselberg is survived by his wife, one son, Mr. H. Caselberg (serving with the forces in Australia), and one daughter, Mrs. Sticht (U.S.A.). There are three brothers, Messrs. David and Alfred Caselberg (Masterton), and Mark Castle (Tane), and two sisters, Mrs. Harris and Miss Castle (Sydney).
