(Received' August 21, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 20. A French communique says: "The French Forces of the Interior last week intensified their operations, which now cover nearly one-third of France. Between August 12 ami 19 they liberated eight Departments in Brittany, the Alps, the Pyrenees and central France, took prisoner 2265 Germans and killed and wounded 2236, destroyed 38 bridges, 12 locomotives, and six planes, and wrecked other important equipment.” LONDON. August 21.
