Tributes To Brigadier Hargest
Tributes of respect to the memory of the late Brigadier J. Hargest, member of Parliament for Awarua, who was killed in action in Normandy, will be taken in the House of Representatives today, when it resumes following the long weekend adjournment. No other business will be transacted, and after the tributes the House will adjourn till tomorrow afternoon ns a mark of respect. The Financial Debate will be resinned tomorrow. The Prime . Minister, Mr. Fraser, will speak in the debate on Thursday night. The debate has now extended over six sitting days, and 28 speeches have been made, 14 from each side of the House.
