German Troops Avert Air Attack (British Official Wireless.) (Received August. 20, 7 RUGBY, August 19. Enemy troops retreating both in and from the Falaise gap are warding off the Allied air forces by disguising themselves as ambulance columns, says a correspondent with the Canadians. On practically every kind of vehicle they have painted the Red Cross, aud our pilots, though they realize these are always fighting vehicles carrying unwounded, can do nothing about attacking them.
