Information as to whether it was the intention of the Government to announce plans for a system of universal physical and military training in post-war years was sought b.v Mr- Macdonald (Opposition. Mat.aura) in notice of a question to the Prime Minister. Mr. Fraser, in the House yesterday. “This is a matter of great interest io young officers and N.C.O.’s in the forces, as it would widen their choice of a future career, and an early announcement would be of assistance to them,” said Mr. Alacdoiiald in a note to his question-.
