Recapture Of Maltot

(Received July 24, 1.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 23. The Allies have cleared the enemy from .the village of Etavaux on the Caen sector, says this morning's Allied communique. “Our forces advanced south-east from Eterville and Maltot is in our bauds,” it says, “North of Periers, we have crossed the Seves River in the vicinity of the village of Seves, which is two miles north-north-west of Periers. “Medium bombers early last evening attacked fuel dumps in the Forest de Couches and nt Messei and Chateau de Tertu.
