, The Wellington Basketball Association ’ played its whole programme of competition matches, 54 games, on Saturday, under the best possible weather conditions. Kia Ora, last year's winners of I senior A, and leading by two points from i St. Anne’s, won again, while St. Anne’s , defeated Island Bay, placing the former I team second, with Island Bay third, two poluts behind Island Bay. ■ lu senior B. W.1'1.0.G. goes ou with much confidence, for a score of 33 goals is ; very unusual in their grade. 'The game ; resulted in 40 goals being scored in 40 minutes; there was' not much field work in such a game. Two ■ representative teams have been chosen from senior A. The first team will represent (Veilington at: the New Zealand ; tournament at (.'bristehiireli. while the second teom wilt probably play the annual fixture against Auckland’s junior representative team. Harrington Ims often been called for trials, but this is the first time she lias actually been iu the representative team. She well deserves the honour, having played brilliantly all season. I. Musgrove was in both third ami senior B representatives some years ago. K. Purcell and S. Stone were senior B representatives last year. J.
