With n companion a young man reached Hie cover of a I ram-stop shelter in Wellington during Hie rain yesterday. Then ho had difficulty in folding his umbrella ; some of Hie ribs would not lie adjusted. The position was beginning to irrilalo hint when, to cover his embarrassment, be explained to his friend, "Anyhow. it’s only an old one I use on wet days.”
