BOMBING OFFENSIVE MAINTAINED
LONDON. March 24. Last night the Bomber Command attacked targets at Laon, north-western France, and Lyons, in the south. Mosquitoes raided Dortmund and elsewhere in western Germany. Mines were laid in enemy waters. Two aircraft are missing from the night’s operations. People on the south-east eoast of England this morning saw large forces of Allied bombers again passing over to the Continent. The German radio warned towns of sou th-western and later south-eastern Germany of bomber formations approaching.
