ROYAL INSPECTION
Second-Front Troops (British Official Wireless.) (Received March 24, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 23. An escort of armoured cars guarded Their Majesties against possible air attacks during a two-day tour of inspection of second-front troops. Princess Elizabeth for the first time accompanied her parents on a full-length tour. Their Majesties and the Princess entered jeep scout cars to watch flamethrowers. anti-tank guns, mortars and self-propelled artillery in action. They also saw troops scrambling down scaffolding as a rehearsal for the disembarkation from invasion ships into landing Crowds lining the streets and also the troops gave a special Cheer when they saw the Princess accompanying Ibeir Majesties.
