RELIGIOUS NOTICES. CHRISTADELPHIAN LECTURE' 1.0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET (Opp. Paramount Theatre) Courtenay Place THE FIFTH LECTURE of the series under the title of "TURNED UNTO FABLES” will be delivered (God Willing) in the above Hall on SUNDAY, al 7 p.m., when further evidence will be produced from the Scriptures to show that Christendom is astray, aud "turned unto fables” (2 Tim. 1:3-1). 'The subject will be: — “JUDGMENT FOR ALL AT DEATH— A FABLE” Tn Ute course of this address it will he shown that the belief that judgment takes place on the day of death has its foundation in the Pagan doctrine of the immortality of the soul and its attendant erroneous doctrines ot heaven-going at death and hell-fire torments, but that in contrast the Bible clearly teaches:— (1) THAT death is really death; and consequently the “dead know not anything” (Ecc. 9:5, Ecc. 9:10, Psa. 6.5, Psa. 115:17, Psa. 1411:3-4). (2) THAT dofth for the majority is tho end of all—for such there will be no appearing before the Judgment seat of Christ (Psa. 49:20, Prov. 21:16, Roms. 2:12, etc.). (3) THAT those only who receive light concerning tlte will and purpose ot God and thereby become responsible to Him are amenable to judgment (Psa. 119:130, Jas. 4:17, Jno. 9:41, J no. 15:22, J 110/12:48; Luke 12:47-18, etc.). (-1) THAT this event occurs at.tlte personal return to earth of Jesus Christ, into whose hands “all judgment is committed” (Jno. :22, Acts 10:42. 2 Tim. 4:718, 2 Tim. 4:1, 1 Cor. 4:5. Matt. 25:31-46, etc.). (5) THAT therefore the responsible dead will, at Christ’s return, be subjects of a "resurrection from among the dead,” to then with the respou Bible living “appear before the judgment seat of Christ” (Rev. 11:18. 5, Acts 24:15, John 5:28-29, Dan. 12:2, 2 Cor. 5:10, etc.). (6) THAT Christ will then reward the accepted with immortality (an incorruptible physical body), and inheritance in the Kingdom of God He will set up on earth, and punish the rejected with “the second death” (Matt. 6:10, Matt. 13:43, Jas. 2:5, 1 Cor. 15:51-54, Phil. 3:20-21, Rev. 5:9-10, Rev. 20:6, Rev. 2:11, Roms. 6:23, 2 Thcss. 1:7-10, Job 21:30, Mai. 4:1, etc.).
