CRISIS WARNING
NEW YORK', March 23. The war had reached the most critical stage in the Empire's history, necessitating the people’s total effort to increase the nation’s military power without one second of delay, said the Japanese Premier, General To.io, in an address to the Diet which was broadcast by Tokio official radio. Tie added that, the 100,000,000 Japanese must direct their power unsparingly to the one goal of destroying Britain and America. A Berlin rebroadcast stated that Tojo warned the Japanese that new AngloAmerican attacks must, be expected on the Pacific from a stubborn enemy who based his plans on his material superiority.
