Post-section play in the Wellington Bowling Centre’s pennants competition vias commenced on Saturday. Ilaialtai beat Thorndon, Island Bay beat Hataitai, and Wellington beat Woburn. Island Bay will meet Hataitai in the semifinal game on Saturday next, and the winning team will play Wellington in the final game. In the post-section play in the junior pennant competition Wellington heat Karori, Island Bav beat Petone, Wellington beat Woburn, iind Upper Hutt beat Khandallah In the semifinal game on Saturday next Wellington will play Island Bay and Wellington will play Upper Hutt. The Wellington Bowling Club’s pairs championship final was won by D. Walker ami 1.. Cronin (s.) by 21-15. after a keen contest against F. Doolan and .1. J. Newson (s.). Champion of Champions Pairs. The champion of champions pairs tournament will be played this week on the Newtown club's green, the first three rounds tomorrow and the semifinals aud fiual on Thursday.
