The Nazi Propaganda Minister, Dr. Goebbels, in an article in “Das Reich’ portrays the Germans as the last bulwark between Europe and Bolshevistn. “The war is approaching a’ dramatic climax with giant strides, yet there are hardly any indications that the. European peonies are awake to the imperative necessity of defending; the Continent. The events with which the year 1944 began are onlv a prelude to ivhat is to follow. “Everybody realizes that the fate or Europe depends solely on the strength ot German resistance. Nothin? but the strength of the Wehrmacht.can halt the military advance of the Soviets.
