EISENHOWER’S TOUR OF BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 17. General Eisenhower, Allied Com-mander-in-chief of the forces for invasion, has been engaged in a whirlwind tour of the United Kingdom, visiting field units of the Allied expeditionary force. He is travelling in a special train, accompanied by the Deputy Supreme Commander, Air Marshal Tedder. They are inspecting all types of units in the field throughout the country. . . ■ « r Commenting on his visits, he said: I found the troops in good spirits, intensively engaged in efficient training for the big job that lies ahead.”
