FURLOUGH DRAFT
Grant For Entertainment
A grant of £1 for each serviceman or servicewoman entertained is to be made by the Government to local bodies toward the cost of welcoming home and entertaining the second furlough draft. A similar arrangement was made in relation to the men of the first furlough d'aft. The grant now made, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Parry, said •zesterday would apply also to men and women who returned from active service in between the arrival of the first and second furlough drafts.
