Gold Mining The Grey River return for the fortnight ended February 16 was 4430 z. for 229 hours from 134,957 yards. Associated Gold Dredges last week returned 119 oz. for 317 J hours from 59,390 yards. Northern Roller Mills The Northern Roller Milling Co-. Ltd., lias declared a final dividend on preference shares at the rate of 5 1-5 per cent, per annum, less security taxes, payable on March 1. Transfer books are not closing, Christchurch Gas Profit The accounts of the Christchurch Gas Company for the year ended December 31 show a net profit, of £19,091, compared with £19,631) in the previous year and £17,765 in 1941. The profit'and loss account shows a 'credit of £21,683. As previously reported, a final dividend of 3 per /cent, is proposed, making-5 per cent. (unchanged) .for the year.
